lucky peppers

it all started with a lime tree and a blood orange tree...gifts for my woman and our partner. soon we had a few seedlings and big ideas to make life a little simpler and lower the carbon footprint we leave behind. one year later i have about 20 containers, mostly peppers. a few tomatoes and squash . i compost everything i can from coffee grounds to newspaper, food scraps , citrus waste from the trees. this has led to lowering our trash by about 60% as well lowering my gardening costs. we recycle everything we can again lowering the amount of trash we produce. here i am season 2 with big ideas for the future....we are making jelly , canning a little and getting ready to move the garden to a bigger space . it is crazy how something you fall into becomes what you need to feel complete and productive. so look forward to many rants and raves on peppers and more from the garden section of this blog , and as well if you live near and want peppers let me know i have a few extra...
